Here is a barn find covered in dust and hay 1983 Chevy Monte Carlo – 99% all there and original. We bought it off a farmer that claims his father bought it new and drove it until he passed away.
The interior has stuff in it, but really looks in amazing shape for the age.
The moldings, trim, bumpers, glass all look good, the engine and under hood is all original with all the air condition components present. V6, 3 speed auto car that ran fine when parked is the story. Frame is ok, not great but solid front and back. Unusual spot of rust on the frame by trans crossmember but definately repairable. Trunk floor is perfect, quarters have original seams to the wheel houses, hood and decklid appear very good – core suport solid and good, battery tray even good. Oil is clean and antifreeze is full and green.
i have not cleaned it, have not washed it, have not messed with it, all i did is save it and now i am passing it onto someone that can use it for whatever they would like.
i have a clean title and bill of sale that is transferable to the new owner from the farmer. I will air up the tires and it does roll free.
