RARE, barn-find, estate-sale 1983 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 Custom Roadster Convertible. Just pop the top, fold the convertible top in the storage area, close the lid and it transforms into a Convertible Roadster! This Z-28 is in good condition and would make a nice toy for someone since it’s sporting a rebuilt Chevy 350 (not original) motor, Performance Summit hydraulic cam, Edelbrock Edurashine Dual-Quad intake system and custom exhaust.
The Camaro has 83K miles, power steering, power brakes, ac, automatic trans, remote mirror and gray cloth interior. The black convertible top looks to be an AutoForm convertible conversion with a trim package that a car dealership probably put together and called a “stiletto” My thought is that these were bought new, already converted from the dealership. The conversion was outsourced for the Chevy dealer to a coach builder, not done by GM.
The car runs and drives even though it has not been driven on the roads for years. It’s basically a cruiser type of hot rod.
