1978 Triumph Spitfire 1500 , zero rust, straight, PROFESSIONALLY converted to twin-rotor Wankel engine from 1986 Mazda RX7 & rebuilt 5 speed transmission from same . SUPER fast/ clean installation! Tight car.
With no choke or electronics of any kind on this (No ECUs to go bad) this car starts cold-bloodedly , but can be coaxed to run once you know what you are doing. Will idle only after running for a minute or two. This is because side draft Weber does not have a choke circuit. Once warm, runs amazing.
I was told 13B twin rotor engine was rebuilt by local rotary engine expert about 8 or 9 years ago and less than 4000 miles.
Odometer shows 46350 original miles.
Car has ZERO rust, and suspension has been rebuilt with new bushings, exhaust is newer , tires look like new (but are actually older)
Car has two tops : Soft top pictured, and a shabby hard top , which will do the job of keeping weather out of the car.
Some dash switches do not work (yet) , will take some tinkering….
