Stock Number: 1920 – 1975 Triumph Spitfire – This is a true Barn Find from just a couple hours down the road at Kearney, NE. It had been sitting for several years and now it has been rescued and available for someone to start enjoying it again. All the normal things have been serviced to get the car roadworthy again. Fluids, Tune-Up, Battery, Brakes and Tires. Now it is running and driving. It is ready for the next step in its evolution. The Spitfire was designed by Giovanni Michelotti based upon the Triumph Herald frame, drive train and suspension. First introduced in October, 1962, as Triumph’s entry into the small British Sports Car market. It was updated by Michelotti with the MkIV for the 1971 model year. The Spitfire’s design remained basically the same but was modernized in appearance and suspension, The 1500 is considered one of the best looking and certainly the most fun to drive with its 1493cc engine.
