1974 FORD Grand Torino Elite 2 dr hdtp, NC Barn Find- Been in storage building since 1981 as I was told. There have been no attempts to get it running or driving. Winter is moving in on me and I have to get ready for it. The Speedometer shows 01080 so it has rolled over and really has 101080 Miles on it.
I have sprayed and JB Blaster and WD40’d the carb, spark plugs and much of the engine compartment to free up anything that might need some lube. Mice had moved into the top of the intake manifold around the carb of the engine. I leaf blew that area. The air cleaner was on the carb with an element in it. No mice nesting was in the air cleaner. This is a VERY RARE- Q Code 351 Cobra Jet Cleveland Engine- Performance C6 Trans., stall torque converter and 4300D carb. Pastel Lime exterior color with dark green split bench cloth interior with dark green roof. MARTI REPORT will show list of all options as built. This car will need some TLC in its present state. It has a rare factory Quadra-sonic 8 track-AM/FM stereo radio, tilt column, Performance Instrumentation gauge package, power seat, 3.25 rear axle ratio, a/c, wire wheel covers. There are a few extra parts that I have collected that come with the car and are in the truck. This car is about as original as one could get with its original hoses belts and wire clamps under the hood. This car from sitting and being a light color car has minimal rust, stains and spots showing.
This will be a unique rare muscle car to cruise the car shows in when back on the road. I had big plans for this car, but because I lack garage storage and already have several lifetimes of projects already as well as getting up in years, I decided I would like to pass it on to someone else to bring it back to life.
