1974 Chevrolet El Camino Classic, 350 V8, Auto Transmission, a True Barn Find
This vehicle is a true Barn Find-last license was 1986 was running when put away in a shed for 35 years.
The mice kind of had their way, (chewed spark plug wires not replaced) however, in the glove box I found the owners manual, vehicle warranty and emissions information warranty. Manuals are a little bit up by the mice but readable.
All I have done is made sure the engine was not locked up, washed the car out and demoused the car. I notice the windshield is cracked, some metal fatigue on a few lower panels, surface rust on the top and some side panels. The bed is in good shape has a little fatigue in spots.
The original jack and spare spare are in the car with the lug wrench. This is really a clean find has not been tampered with—the way you get it is exactly how it was found.
