We have for sale a 1974 C30 Chevy Custom one ton dually tow truck with sling. True “barn find” with all of its period correct parts intact down to the iconic push bumper. The bed appears to be in great shape and the PTO driven winch still works and there is even a ball in the bed for a goose neck trailer. This truck has a 454 under the hood and a manual 4speed trans. (non-air truck, heat only) we threw in a fresh battery and some fresh gas and she fired right off. It does run and drive but the accelerator pump acts like it is dried up but if the gas pedal is feathered it’ll go down the road. (it is running off of a boat tank that’s in the cab, this is how we found it and the condition of the original tank is unknown) The hydra boost brakes work good which I was pleasantly surprised after being parked up for a while. Five of the tires hold air and the right rear outer tire will not, all will need replaced to safely roll down the road. Now sometime “back in the day” it has had what I’d call an armature repaint that has hidden some rust along the bottom of the doors and fenders and in the rockers. Best that I can tell through the cloudy speedo lens the mileage is 93292; I’m guessing that it is true miles but I can’t guarantee. As for the interior, the dash pad is cracked, the glove box is lying on the seat (unsure why) and the seat back is broken.
