This is a great little Jeep CJ. It has the classic look of an old flat fender Jeep, but you are not limited to 45 mph in this little beast. Combine the 304 ci V8, with power steering, power brakes, later model front and rear axles, as well as the transfer case and you have a great cruiser. This Jeep will do highway speeds all day long. I have taken 3 hour freeway trips averaging 65-70 mph and not a hiccup. The steering is tight and the Jeep steers straight down the road, instead of darting around like most old Jeeps. According to the previous owner, this Jeep was purchased from a collector who claimed the original mileage was just over 3000 miles. It might be true, since the title shows less than 3,500 original miles. The next owner completely restored the Jeep and upgraded the drivetrain, as well as the electrical system. This Jeep has a later model tilt steering column, floor mounted emergency brake, 3-speed transmission, professional wiring, later model radiator, headers with side pipes, electric fuel pump, new gauges and a nearly new soft top.
