1960 chevy impala convertible with a 348 big block 4 barrel carb, this is a true barn find , My dad bought this car march 19, 1963. He traded his 55 chevy bel air hardtop in on it . They drove this car up till the summer of 1973 when it was parked and never again to be driven. it was pulled out around the 80’s and was serviced and tires put on it and then was back in storage until last month . my dad passed away and now my mom wants to sell the car. The car has 72,561 miles, I have turned the engine over by hand and turned right over so I installed a battery and it cranked right over and sounds to have good compression. Lights all come on and I think with fresh fuel and a tune-up it would probably fire up. I didn’t want to do much to it, as you can see it still has the barn dirt on it.at some point my dad removed the carpet and the right door panel and the hub caps. all which are in the trunk. the floor boards look really good with only a couple of holes about the size of 50c piece. There is a couple of dents on the hood, left chrome molding has a scrape, some rust around the wheel wells, some rust around the license plate .We also have the original sales receipt,Title,Key tags,Bank papers, as well as other receipts.
