1953 Ford Crestline Sunliner Barn Find
25,000 original miles. Parked inside a barn in 1962 and removed from an Idaho Barn in 2016. Runs and drives very well. What a rare opportunity to own a classic unrestored car. They are only original once!
Condition
Unrestored and awesome. Has the original 6-volt system.
Solid solid solid!!
Fuel system gone thru, new fuel tank.
Brake system gone thru all new wheel cylinders and new fluid. Stops great.
Top goes up and down manually and is disconnected from the power motor
The front hood has been replaced but most of the car has original lacquer paint.
Tires are older 1962 since that is when it was parked. Should be replaced but there is no checking or cracks that I can see.
Carpet has been removed to show the pans front seat is unbolted.
Trunk pan is solid and so is spare tire pan.
Original black and red interior front seat is really worn and so is the top.
Most gauges are working, fuel gauge needs adjust new sender in tank
Headlights, taillights and brake lights work. Turn signals do not.
Does not have the original overdrive transmission. Transmission is a period correct 3 on the tree.
An amazing piece of history. Would make anyone proud to drive it. I drive it around town just the way that it is and I just love it!
