This is a 1918 Model T Ford Rail Truck, a barn find from Virginia City Nevada. I don’t have any further history on it. It operates as a track inspection vehicle on standard gauge railroad track. This Model T is being sold by a private collector and was has not been operated in a long time. The carbeurator was cleaned and new battery installed. The truck starts but overheats. The radiator appears to have an old mouse nest in the upper tank and possibly a leak. The motor appears to be in good condition with no cracks, etc. The transmission engages and shifts, but we have only ran it back and forth a few feet. The truck is sitting in our gravel lot, ready to be loaded on a trailer in Portola, CA. We have a forklift and can help

load.
