1984 Chevrolet Suburban Rare 6.2L Diesel, Vin#1G8CC26J4EF158096 a true barn find, one-owner truck has been stored for several years. We replaced the batteries, belts and hoses, and serviced the truck. After doing so, we started it up and it runs and drives excellently. Has what looks to be original tires from the late 1980’s. We wanted to keep these original tires on the truck to show the originality, but they are not ready to hit the road so they will be replaced with new tires for the new owner once sold. We believe the miles could be original judging by the interior condition and the engine bay, as well as the truck’s original tires. However, we don’t have solid proof of this and the truck will be sold as miles exempt from reporting due to the fact it is over 10 years old. Truck does have paint flaws, including clear coat peeling in some areas, as well as some rust spots. Please view photos. Rear bumper chrome is also peeling. Interior is in excellent condition with some cracks on dash, seats are in outstanding condition and headliner is original. Engine runs very strong and transmission shifts with ease. AC blows but not cold. We have not looked into this in further detail. Please view photos for condition of vehicle and ask any questions you may have before making a reasonable offer. This truck is in very good condition, but has flaws as to be expected for a 30 year-old vehicle.
