RUST FREE VW CLASSIC WESTFALIA here ! Runs and drives! Just revived after about 15 years in storage / non use.
I pulled the engine , and offered up new front/ rear main seals, new starter motor, new clutch, and a few new air intake hoses , as well as a new fuel pump and fuel tank flush. New battery too, of course.
Starts right up and runs and drives fine, BUT, valves are still loud, lifters may be sticking? I have only driven about 5 miles so far after resurrecting this vanagon camper.
Interior looks very nice. Tent canvas has a tear/ stain.

These VW Westfalias, especially the early air cooled vans, are quite collectible and desirable. Most have rusted away. This one is very solid.
