1975 Pontiac Trans Am Restoration Project
This car, which was considered my “barn find” was purchased as a future restoration project over 30 years ago when I found it stored in a warehouse. This Sterling Silver T/A features the L75 455 HO motor with a close ratio 4 speed manual transmission, in which there were only 857 produced with this option. A 3.23 positraction rear with 70×15 Rallys (car is currently on custom mag wheels) make up most of any options. This is a no A/C car. The car is currently in a non-running state of storage. Unfortunately, time was not good to this car, as it has extensive rust areas throughout. It will need front and rear floor pans, as well as a truck pan. Lower quarters and fender will need to be replaced. I do have a LH fender that goes with this. All in all, the entire car is pretty solid but rough, but all the original pieces are there to finish this project. I have a clean title and can provide the original dealer sales documentation.The way it sits now is the same condition it was in then 30 years ago. Unfortunately, time, money, and an upcoming relocation have taken away any aspirations of a long term restoration. Please, serious inquiries only since I am under a tight relocation timeframe.
Update- The hood is still jammed from the showing two weeks ago, we are still working to get it open without damage. As soon as it’s open I will post pictures. Pictures listed are from underneath.
