ORIGINAL BARN FIND TRANS AM – “its only original once”

I found this car in 2014 in a trailer park North of San Francisco. Car had been sitting and needed rework and retune mechanically with an original Boas Pontiac license plate frame and Wood Pontiac license frame where car was regularly serviced (in Northern Cal. – This has always been a Ca. car.) The seller finally decided to sell when he wanted a new trailer. The tires in pics were on the car and from best info were estimated to be vintage early 1980’s. I immediatly purchased the new aftermarket stock appearance 17 inch honeycombs and replaced them but keeping the old tire/ rim package together and they go with the car.

I believe this to be an early 1973. The Fair original body and paint (NO RUST) has regular bumps/ scratches for a 50 year old car – best I can tell the car has 75% original paint and decals with a blended repaint later on roof (thus stripe kit missing on roof) tumbler lock (plugged) from 70’s period alarm system. Have clean replacement quarters for future resto. Car was keyed.All original with mild performance upgrades with electronic ignition and new tire/ rim package.

Interior is original with some carpet fading – no radio , no rear console – no rips or tears – replaced sagging with new OEM headliner

455 H.O. (now) Ram Air – original date coded 1973 SR block per previous seller – factory orig. rated @ 310 hp

Rebuilt in 2013 -14 (2,000 +/- mi. since rebuild) Receipts go with car
