I am helping sell this super-cool, extremely-desirable survivor, 1973 Datsun 240Z, to help settle the estate of a classic car lover. This car has been garage-kept and very well maintained. It has a mostly straight body – with dents in both front fenders and front bumper. It is still finished in its original (code 112) yellow color – with scuffs, imperfections, some rust and normal patina. The overall interior looks good – including the headliner, door panels and carpet. The driver’s seat is ripped and the dash has a crack.
The car has been stored in the family’s garage for many years. We pulled it out, hosed it off, drained the gas, installed a battery and started it right up. We drove it around the property… it sounds and drives good. It even has air conditioning. I am sure it could use a tune-up and carb cleaning, from sitting. I tried taking pictures of all angles, so you can see just how good this car really is. This is truly a great investment – climbing in value every year. The current NADA Book Value is: Low-$15,400; Average-$38,300; High-$64,000. Do not let these values stop you from making a bid today.
This car is being sold with absolutely NO RESERVE. I have 100% positive feedback (please read) because I don’t exaggerate the condition of cars. This car is being sold without RESERVE, as I feel this is the only fair way to sell a car at auction. If you have any questions, please call me (Ken) directly (quickest and preferred) at 513-403-7386, or email, and I will help you. The family is a motivated, very reasonable seller. They reserve the right to sell the car early, if you would like.
