1973 Chevy Vega Drag Car, Project Car, Barn Find No Engine or Transmission.
Body is straight with no rust. The paint is good with some scratches and 2 small cracks. The fiberglass front lower valance was damaged when the car was being loaded in a trailer and will need to be repaired or replaced. Body is all steel with the exception of the lower front valance and the fiberglass lift off hood. The key to the rear hatchback is broken and must be opened with a screwdriver. Car has a battery shutoff switch and jumper terminals on the back. All glass is good, with only one small star in the windshield. There is a two piece aluminum cover for the transmission. The car has 15×4.5 Bogart Force 5 wheels with Moroso DS-2 25×4.5×15 tires on the front, and 15×10 Bogart Force 5 wheels with M/T 27×10.5×15 ET Street slicks on the back. The wheels are beautiful!! Car has disc brakes on all four wheels. The rear suspension is all Art Morrison with ladder bars, coil over shocks with springs and diagonal link. The rear end is a 9 inch with 4.56 gears and a spool with Mark Williams “Hi-Torque” axles. The car has a 5 gallon main fuel cell, and a 1 gallon fuel cell for the nitrous system, and a bracket for the Nitrous bottle. It is set up for 2 batteries in the rear. The roll cage was professionally built. There are 2 Summit Racing seats. Car has switches for the line lock, trans brake and Nitrous on the steering wheel.
Included with the car is a set of SBC Hooker Super Competition Headers with side exit 3 inch exhaust with Borla Race Mufflers. A Holley 800-300 Pro Strip Annihilator Ignition System that is fully adjustable with burnout rev. limiter, staging rev. limiter, main rev. limiter, dual rpm-activated switches to control electric shifter and nitrous, and ignition timing can be customized from driver’s seat. A SBC 350 4 bolt main 010 high nickel bare block. A solid plate front motor mount for SBC. A custom drive shaft that fits a Powerglide transmission with a TH350 output shaft or a TH350 transmission. A Griffin 1-25222-X 2 row racing radiator.
