This car is a 350 4 speed numbers matching original ,This Car is #6 off the assembly line ,The original owner missed her drive and went into a small ditch and cracked the nose in the summer of 1980 she then sold it to a gentleman in the same town he worked on it some put it in the corner life got in the way and he got old ,He sold it to a good friend of mine 6-7 years ago he stuffed it in the corner and there it set until I bought it ,so the cars been stuffed away for about 42 years ,The man that began the work bought a new nose for it at some point , it is just sitting on the car ,The car was originally Targa Blue with blue interior (this color shared a low production number)It has a removable rear glass, Manual crank windows ,PS PB ,Heater NO AC, Tilt -Telescoping steering wheel , Block #3970010 cast date G271 Block pad code CKW ,Intake #6263751 cast date G91, Starter #1108418 date G91 ,Alternator #1100950 date 1F14 , Carburetor 7042210 date 169 2 , this should be 7042203 my guess is since it’s not even a year past the build date the car was under warranty and had the carb replaced ,It still retains its original M20 Muncie 4 speed with Vin# matching the car , almost every pc is there to put the car back ,the only pc that has damage is the end grilles and the old headlight assemblies where they were not in the building but had layed on the ground , To anyone wondering if this car was in the Ian hurricane flood it was not this car has lived its life in a Farming/cow town at least 60-70 miles from the coast ,I’ll give discloser I’m not a Corvette guy I do like them I have a shop and parts buss and have been restoring cars most of my life and will answer the best I can any questions honestly ,I haven’t said much about the fact that it is the 6th car to come off the assembly line but I personally think its Kool, My friend has been in law enforcement for over 40 years and was able to help me ascertain the past history of this car ,I use the word Barn because I like the word when in fact most old buildings In South Florida have concrete floors and block walls as was the case of this cars storage
, I might consider transporting the car in Florida for a pre-paid fee, maybe Al ,Ga ,If you have someone in the area or want to inspect the car text to make arrangements 2394042235 I’m here weekdays after 2:00 pm This also applies to any freight truck that is doing a pickup NO exception (2:00 pm Weekdays)
