Improved drivers seating position is enhanced providing additional leg and head room setup for drivers up to 6′ 2″ – 200lbs + without distorting the fiberglass floor as original seats where fitted, quick release steering wheel for easy driver access. Dash with full instrumentation, complete electrical system replaced and updated with modern instrumentation, switches, custom new wiring harness, new gas tank and all related fuel lines. Not the original design track rods attached to transmission case with a small bracket, causing inconsistent rear alignment due to flex at transmission / mount . Trailing (Radius ) arms, modified with adjustable solid bushing assembly mounted with reinforced double shear mounting to chassis, providing custom revised suspension geometry, camber, tow, track / wheel base adjustability options for wider wheels / tires for street or track, spax adjustable shocks / new springs, updated hub / stub axle assembly with disc brakes, converted to c/v joints with custom axles to match VW transaxle. Engine / Trans / Drive Train Conversion. Replacing the antiquated, under powered Renault engine and weak trans axle, not to mention lack of new parts to service.
