This jeep was purchased by a friend years ago with the intention of fixing it up. He got busy and never completed the restoration, and I am now helping to sell the vehicle.
This jeep runs reasonably well. I believe it has the original engine, which seems to run fine. I’ll get to the (known) problems in a minute, but first the good stuff:
The body is in really good shape for its age. Granted it has a few dings and the tailgate is slightly bent as you can see in the photos, but there is very little corrosion.
The frame for the soft top seems to work perfectly. The windows all roll up and down well, and the window frames are all intact. The lights, blinkers, and wipers all work. The doors open and latch smoothly.
It is a very unique vehicle which elicits admiration and envy.
Known problems:
There is a very slow leak of brake fluid from the right front.
The soft top lacks a back window, and has a cut on the upper rear left as you can see in the photo.
