For the first time since it was purchased new in 1969, this one‑owner Dodge Coronet 440 is being offered for sale.
Showing just 65,000 original miles, this untouched, all‑original barn‑find survivor is a rare opportunity for any Mopar enthusiast.
This Coronet has been sitting for the last 25 years and has never been restored or repainted. It has never been involved in an accident. As of January 2026, it has been carefully brought back to running and driving condition with the following recent work:
• 2 Brand new tires
• All fluids changed
• All brake lines replaced
• New master cylinder installed
• Fresh battery installed
The original, numbers‑matching 318 V8 fires right up and runs excellent. The transmission shifts smoothly in all gears. With a bit more tuning and sorting, this car has the potential to be a reliable daily driver.
Mechanically, the engine, transmission, and rear end are all numbers matching. Cosmetically, the car still wears its factory‑applied paint in a very rare bronze color. The body does have rust and will need a full restoration to be show quality.
All of the glass is original and in excellent condition. The frame is solid with no cancer, and the floors are solid overall, though they do have some rust in areas typical for a car of this age.
The interior is completely original and in excellent condition for its age, and the engine compartment presents very well considering its originality and years in storage.
All in all, this is an honest, unmolested 1969 Coronet 440—a perfect father‑and‑son (or daughter) project and a great foundation for a restoration or preservation‑style build.
