1969 Chevelle SS 396 L78 survivor
I’ve owned this car over 10 years. It’s truly an amazing car. It was documented by McNeish as a survivor. It runs and drives great but I hardly ever drive it because in my opinion it’s too original to drive. When’s the last time you seen an L78 with it’s entire original exhaust system? Here’s a few points about the car:
*Original drivetrain that’s never been out of the car
*Documented numbers JD engine, M21 muncie, KK 4.10 rear, 837, 499, 4053, 163, radiator, deep grove pulleys, and on and on.
*Original smog system never out.
*Original hoses.
*Some original paper tags still visible. Purple paint mark on distributor etc. Only the battery and cables and plugs wires replaced (dated packards)
*Original exhaust system with rare rolled tips.
*Original muncie shifter that shifts great.
*Documented original interior even carpet.
*Documented as original paint with some touch ups
*Factory tach and gauges.
*Very solid car and documented as such.
* Original bright work.
*All 4 original t3s
*Original top.
* All 5 dated original SS wheels with original wide oval spare.
*Gauges, radio and lighter still work. Factory clock stopped long ago.
* I have the original owners manual, a couple broadcast sheets, and a full McNeish report.
