1967 Ford Galaxie Convertible
We took this car in trade for excavation work and it
was sitting in a barn on the property for several years.
The car is complete and we did change the fuel pump
and the engine fired up and sounds very well. The transmission
seems to work for yard drives and the brake are low but stop the
car fine. The body has had a few patches in the past on the quarters and also the floors have had very amateur patches but they have held up .The door bottoms are solid and the trunk lid and trunk appear solid. The doors open and close well.
The convertible top powers up and down exactly how it should, but torn. All the windows do work properly, the windshield is broken.
The body will need a restoration but is complete and a great solid project . The interior is complete missing only the carpet , the seats look like they would be presentable with a good cleaning. Door panels are same and the dash does have cracks .
This car appears to have the original 390 V8 engine and the C6
transmission .
