1963 Chevrolet Bel Air Station Wagon
This incredible 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air wagon was recently acquired from the original family that bought the car new here in California in 1963.
The car was built at the Los Angeles plant and stayed here its entire life. It is a factory 283 V8 car with the two speed Powerglide automatic transmission.
The car is in AWESOME SHAPE!
It is has the most incredible patina and is one of the most solid cars I have ever seen! The only spot of rust is on the passenger inner fender where the battery tray was. The rest of the car is rock solid!
I can only imagine the stories this car could tell. Trips down Route 66, Lake Tahoe, Palm Springs, and definitely Cachuma Lake in 1968 based upon the permit still present on the driver’s vent window.
We have completed a bunch of service work and the car runs like a top. You can run it like it is, or this would be a perfect candidate for a LS swap and keep the patina kind of build. Don’t let this one get away!
