This is a 1962 Chevrolet Corvair Lakewood Station Wagon, a true barn find and one of the last of Chevrolet’s rear-engine wagons. The Lakewood model was discontinued after 1962, making this a hard-to-find piece of Corvair history with a clear Tennessee title in my name.

Condition Overview:

Engine/Drivetrain: Non-running. Appears complete but has not been started in years. Will need full mechanical restoration.
Body: Extensive rust throughout with several rust-through panels in the floors, rockers, and lower quarters. Structurally restorable but definitely a project car.
Glass: Broken windshield. All other glass appears intact.
Interior: Original but weathered from storage; will need complete restoration.
Mileage: 28639.0 (Not Working)
What Makes It Special:

The Corvair Lakewood was only produced from 1961–1962, making it one of the rarest Corvair body styles ever built. Surviving examples are scarce, especially those with clean paperwork.

This vehicle does not run. Buyer will have to pick it up and haul it home with flat bed or trailer.
