1961 Chrysler 300G Convertible with Manual Transmission. My father had bought this about 50 years ago in west Texas (Monahans, TX). It has been sitting in this barn for about 40 years of that.
Body: (See Pics)
Appears the be originally red
Right side: Dent in front fender and rear quarter
Left side: Rust in lower rear quarter in front of the rear tire
Front windshield bad, left door glass is broke, and floorboards rusted through.
All seats are there although in bad condition
Mechanically: (See pics)
Not sure what engine it is. I suspect the manual transmission is original. Has clutch pedal and shifting mechanism but the shifter handle is broken off.
I did find what looks like one of the original air breathers from the 2×4 setup and 3 original hubcaps.
Anyone interested should come look before making offers. I can be available to show to respected buyers or hired inspection service if seriously interested, by appointment.
There is a straight path to get it out of the barn. Tires flat
Buyer responsible for removal and loading.
Title: Under the vehicle option tab there is no way to show a missing or lost title. He never had a title. Buyer will need to get bonded title.
Update:
I’ve had many requests for other pictures & information of the trunk area and rear frame. I moved the car out some to get more pictures of rust areas. The add is limited on pictures but will be glad to share more. Contact me for more info and pictures. It will need trunk pan and there is rust on the rear frame.
