LaDawri Daytona kit car project from the 60’s. running chevy 350 v8 that is presently out of the car. has seats, dash, gauges, steering. rolling chassis. chassis appears to be a 60’s ladder frame, that should take an even bigger engine and be plenty strong, with a large amount of clearance. body is in good shape for its age. windscreen is missing, but is a stock 57 chevy pickup windshield turned upside down ! 50’s olds tailights. great styling designed at the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena. LaDawri originally built fiberglass and plastic bodies to fit a number of other cars in Long Beach, California (i believe it was Jesse James old shop). only a handful of these full size Daytonas running around out there. great styling……reminds me of a Cheetah front end with Corvette coves and 53 vette rear. vette style gauges and seating. this will be the killer at any car show. no transmission, so you can go auto or stick. hardtop does not go to this vehicle and is not available. other hardtops can be made to fit. personally i would just run a tonneau and enjoy the sunshine. chevy rear end. titled as a 68 Volvo. no idea how they pulled that off. can assist with shipping arrangements. Rolls and steers. Same wheelbase as a Corvette, just sayin.
