This 67 year old 3100 1/2 ton truck was Chevrolet’s last early 5 window first series design. Halfway through the midyear of 1955 they changed the entire body design and the 1955 Chevrolet first design 5 window pick up trucks would be gone forever. The 5 window early 1955 Chevrolet pick ups are the most desirable of the early era and will always be a true classic with Chevrolet factory upgraded new design 1955 bulletproof 6 cylinder motor and the new 12 volt electrical system.

This truck as you will see in the many photographs and videos was rotisserie restored at a very high level and was in a private collection for years and barely driven since completion. Roughly around 220 break in miles as seen in the photos since the odometer was set back to zero. Beautiful showroom chrome everywhere. The paint and interior look gorgeous on this old truck.

You will notice when the truck was restored the past owner had the original front grill painted to match the paint on the truck. Afterwards he decided to install the showroom new chrome grill that’s on the truck now. The new owner will also receive the original showroom painted grill shown in the box in the bed photographs if he chooses to go back to that option.

He also wanted a new teakwood steering wheel installed which you will see in the photographs that’s on the truck now. I also have the original 1955 Chevrolet factory steering wheel and horn button assembly, and the original 1955 factory oil bath air cleaner, that will go with the truck with a brand new full custom truck car cover as seen in the photos.

The full Interior is show room new everywhere. Full Front and rear factory bumpers with complete original undercarriage spare tire assembly with brand new spare tire, stainless steel full exhaust, overdrive standard manual transmission that was chromed, rare Ellis aluminum dual carburetor intake manifold, all new gauges and complete wiring harness, optional external oil filter, and gasoline glass carb filter.

This truck is a sweetheart. I just changed all the filters and fluids completely throughout the entire drivetrain and it’s ready to drive anywhere. It runs and drives as beautiful as it looks. These 1955 Chevrolet 1/2 ton first series 5 window pick up trucks are very hard to find in this spotless rust free showroom condition with very few built in 1955 first series. You can spend 1000 hours rotisserie restoring a truck like this not counting the cost of the investment of the truck itself or the numerous new parts that have to be installed.

Most high-quality restoration shops can charge from $100 to $200 an hour for just labor alone and when you add those cost up it can well exceed over $100,000. I have a very fair price on this truck. I have the full title in my name and this truck can be looked at my home by appointment when you call me. You can do a full inspection and go for a nice test drive in the country.
