303 Rocket V8 with Futuramic transmission.
This car starts right up and shifts perfect!
Absolutely drives like a DREAM!
Tight seals inside, no whistles.
No leaks, no smoke, no funny noises!
Steers with your pinky finger and handles the road amazing.
Purrs like a kitten and is a real pleasure to cruise in.
Recently the car has had:
*New exhaust system
*New tires
*New fuel pump
*Rebuilt generator
*New brakes at all 4 corners
*New battery, plugs, plug wires, points and rotor button.
*Cooling system flushed.
This Rocket was a local car prior to my acquisition and had been stored away for decades.
Cosmetics:
*As you can see the car looks fantastic as a “driver” car.
The paint does have sunburn (patina) in spots.
I believe this car has had 1 repaint (original color) decades ago but never any body work.
There is rust in various exterior places but not too bad.
The stainless trim on the drivers side rocker is hiding rust toward the front close to the fender. Also the front of both rear quarter panels down low is rusted behind the stainless trim from approx 5″ – down.
Little spots you can see from pics. I am happy to go over any areas in question in further detail and send further pics.
The chrome on the bumpers is not great. The front bumper has several bad spots on it and the rear bumper chrome is in bad shape (I’ll show in pics). However the floors are extremely solid and the frame is rock solid everywhere.
I do have the stainless steel “Gravel guards” for the front fenders that match the rears but they have never been installed.
Engine bay is nice and clean.
Trunk floor is rock solid. Has original spare and jack.
Interior:
*Basically original and incredible although the carpet has been replaced at some point.
Dome light works!
Glove box light works!
All the gauges do work (temp, fuel, amps, oil, speedo, odom).
All the running lights work as well as the factory wipers (vacuum).
Wiring under the dash looks brand new!
NEVER “hacked” into or mice damage.
Mechanically:
*The car always fires right up. Original choke system works properly. Recent points, plugs, plug wires, condenser and distributor cap. The car sits inside my garage and gets started at least once a week but isn’t being driven regularly. Mostly just stored.
I honestly love driving this car when it’s possible.
That being said, I haven’t put a thousand miles on the car since I’ve owned it.
It’s hard to find the time to maintain and enjoy too many vehicles.
At the moment, that is my issue.

This is a fantastic vehicle.
