I am helping sell this super-cool, extremely-desirable, 1950 Ford Flathead V8, 3-speed, Custom Deluxe sedan, to help settle the estate of a classic-car lover. The car has been stored in the family’s barn for over 50 years. We pulled it out yesterday, cleaned it up, disconnected the gas line, jumped the battery, put some gas in the carburetor and started it right up. It sounds great. We did not get to drive it because the brakes are not currently working. This is not a show car. It is a good old project. It is missing the back glass – which is available for $200 on eBay right now. It comes with a brand new – much needed – set of rocker panels.
The original, gray striped cloth interior, has been covered with clear plastic since new. It survived pretty well, but it does have rips and tears. If you figure it needs everything – you won’t be disappointed. This is a great find. The engine compartment and trunk, look very good. I took pictures of all angles, so you could see everything.
