I am helping sell this great-American-classic, 1949 Packard sedan, to help settle an estate. Since the Tuerpe family purchased this car, it has always been barn or garage-kept and very well maintained. It has only 53,656, original miles. It had an ameture paint job 50 years ago, covering up dings and dents with marginal body work. I tried taking pictures of all angles, so you can see the entire vehicle.
The chrome looks mostly good, with some light pitting. It has 4 pieces of cracked flat glass. The seats, door panels, dash and headliner look good. It could use new carpeting. The car was driven into the barn 40 years ago and not pulled out until yesterday. We put some oil in the cylinders, gas in the carburetor, installed a battery, cleaned the points, disconnected the fuel line and got it to run for a minute. We did not spend any more time or attempt getting it running long enough to drive. We hosed the dust off, so you could see the quality of car you are bidding on.
