1949 GMC 100 Advance Design Short Box Pickup Truck.
Very solid all original truck. It has a very straight and mostly rust free body. The floorboards are good showing very minimal signs of rusting. The drivers side cab corner is in excellent rust free condition. The passengers side cab corner has some minor rust through. The fenders have no signs of rust and are very straight for a 70 year old farm truck. The passengers side front fender does have some slight damage though, but could be easily repaired. The bed has no rust. The running boards have no rust. The doors have no rust or dents. What is remaining of the paint appears to be original. Overall this truck is a remarkably solid basis for a restoration with very little rust or dents to contend with compared to most original un-restored trucks of this era.
The interior is complete and in good condition for its age. The original seat will need reupholstering like with any un-restored farm truck of this vintage.
Mechanically this truck is complete but the original engine has been removed. It will be included with the truck but would need a full rebuild before being installed. It rolls and steers freely.
This will make an excellent basis for a project being that it is mostly rust/dent free and complete.
