This is a 1948 Ford f3. The original in-line six cylinder engine is intact. It STARTS. It RUNS good. It is reliable as a WORKING VEHICLE. The headlights WORK, however, this equipment was issued before TURN SIGNALS were made standard. The electricals WORK and operated on a 6 VOLT system. The truck has been PAINTED. The windshield is UNCRACKED. The original vacuum- activated windshield wiper WORKS. The windows ROLL up and down. The door latches WORK. The gauges are ORIGINAL. The glove box WORKS, opens and closes. The lift WORKS. It uses a hydraulic active pump and it is fully functional and acts as a dump truck. The tailgate can disassemble to a partial opening, or completely open. The cab has NEW SEATS. All the controls FUNCTION. This truck has various tools to maintain it’s operation. The brakes WORK. The drums have been pulled apart, inspected and adjusted. The truck RUNS AND OPERATES as it did in 1948 when it was issued to family as a part of a post World War II farming implement / equipment program. The wheels are STRAIGHT AND SOLID. The cab has a pleasant ODOR. It does not smell like gas, old grease, smelly old Nebraska farmers and their aftershave. The ceiling is REPLACED. The alignment is GOOD, there is no wobbling or pull to either side. The Nebraska Certificate of Title is ready to accommodate the vehicle. The clutch is GOOD. If you choose, you can drive it home, however, this is a 1948 farming implement, not a hot rod. It will travel considerably SLOWER than modern trucks and cars.
