This is a California car with a beautiful spotless rust free body as photos will show you. It’s a NATIONAL COMPETITION 1ST PLACE WINNER AT CLASSIC CAR CLUB OF AMERICA REGISTERED NUMBER 3161.

In all the years I’ve owned this car it has never once failed me. It runs and drives like a brand new car. It drives down the road like you’re floating on a cloud. My wife and I have enjoyed this beautiful old Packard for many years and now its time to let it go to a good home as we are older now. Please note I have the original 1937 Packard cormorant swan hood ornament as you see photographed. Also the Artist Lalique sculptured light up crystal American Bald Eagle hood ornament that will go with this car.

You will see all the documentation of ownership with stacks of receipts over the years to show how this beautiful Packard has always been taken care of. I have all the receipt’s for the complete motor rebuild along with many receipts for all the triple plating and so much more.

There is too much to list here. Truly one of the finest 1501 Packard Convertible Rumble Seat Coupes you will ever find. From what I understand the Packard Club of America says there are only 9 of this model known to exist. This may be the only one in 1937 Packard Maroon exterior color. You Packard experts can Google and find out the history from Packard as to how many of this model were built. I photographed the original California Brass VIN tag and the original motor numbers for your viewing all numbers matching from day one 1937. Wheel base 134 inch, radio and heater deluxe models. This was the last year for Packard’s stylish low windshield in a 1937 convertible. Thermostatically controlled grill louver’s for proper engine operating temperature. First year for Packard Safe-T-flex independent front wishbone suspension. Three speed on the floor shifter.

While I have owned this Packard it has always been stored in our climate controlled barn.

I have just changed all the oil and filters and just installed a brand new battery this week and she’s ready to drive anywhere as we speak. You can go 10 miles an hour all day long in this car or you can go 70 miles an hour on the highway for touring events.
