1934 Ford Rumble Seat Roadster — All Steel, Running 8BA Flathead, Clear CA Title
A genuine all-steel ’34 roadster with its 1950s California hot rod build still bolted to it. Garage stored for decades and complete enough to actually finish.

This is a genuine all-original steel 1934 Ford Rumble Seat Roadster with a documented 1950s California hot rod history already built in. Not a glass car, not a repop body, not a parts car. Real Henry steel.

The car made its way from Portland, Oregon to San Diego, California in 1957 and has lived in the Southern California climate ever since. Garage stored and off the road for decades, it is available for the first time in a very long while — complete, largely intact, and loaded with hard-to-find original components.

Sometime in the early 1950s a skilled previous owner went to work building this car right. The 8BA flathead swap was the performance move of the era. The dashboard was fitted with a 1947 Mercury speedometer, four aftermarket Stewart-Warner gauges, and a 1946–48 Dodge steering wheel — deliberate, period-correct choices from California’s golden age of hot rodding. That history is frozen in time and waiting for the next chapter.

The rumble seat body is the most desirable ’34 style. Aged white patina sits over confirmed original blue, visible through the finish at several points on the body. The cowl vent is filled, the correct and expected period hot rod modification.
