I purchased two of these from a collector for parts for my 70.  This gem hasnt been plated since 1986.   and it shows….   After I power washed 8 inches of racoon poop off the motor, I rebuilt the carb, changed starter, changed points and oil, changed the coil and got it fired up.  At first what I thought was a rod knock was a power steering pump running dry.  The bottom end of the motor sounds tight.  It ran reasonably well until one to many smoky burnouts blew a head gaskets.  The motor still runs and drives but will need to be freshed up.  The Turbo 400 trans works good.  THis is a 375 hp 472 ,  10-1 compression.  The brakes sort of work and the car drivers reasonably well.
