Hi this is a 1940 Chevy shorted pick up with title. This was a restoration project that was started a few years ago but never finished. This is a super Rare body style that is super solid and has always been a Southern truck! This is a great solid restoration project from top to bottom. There is no rot around the edge of the windows or roof gutters. The floors in the cab have absolutely no rot! The door open and close properly, and the jams are not rotten! The cowl appears to have no rot! As far as you can see the cab has no rot except on the bottom of the door skins, not the doors them selves. Please view all the HD pics below!!! The frame and suspension on this truck are in amazing shape! Even the running boards and braces are in great shape! Still has its original gas tank under the seat with the original seat frame on top. The dash is all there and is very clean and has the original straight 6 motor and 4 speed trans. The glass is all good except for the split duel windshields have cracks. As far as the bed goes still has the original fenders and tail gate. The bed floor appears to have been replaced. The sides are very solid with no rot! The bed is just sitting on the frame! The front fenders, nose ands hood and all just sitting on the truck and all appear to have no rot. Please make no mistake truck needs Restoration but some of the restoration work was already started. What is so great about this truck is since it was always a southern truck the metal is not even pitted and no deep rust pockets. The truck comes with a few extra parts and comes with the original steel wheels and sleep door panels.
